33’ 58.2”, W052 ° 37’ 40.8”. Flat terrain. Sandy soils.
OBS:Palm solitary to clustering, acaulescent or with a short reclined
trunk. Tallest specimen to 110-135 cm tall. LEAVES 3-5 in crown,
spirally arranged and spreading. Leaf sheath plus petiole is 13-32 cm
long, with the true petiole 11-30 cm x 5-11 mm wide and 3-6 mm thick
with a fibrous leaf sheath, adaxially channeled and abaxially rounded.
Leaf rachis 43-78 cm long. 10-29 pairs of leaflets which are distributed
irregularly in clusters of 2-3 or singly along the rachis in various planes.
Basal leaflets 14-26 x 0.3-0.5 cm, middle leaflets 20-41 x 1-1.8 cm, and
apical leaflets 8-26 x 0.2-0.8 cm. Newer leaflets with a whitish waxy
bloom on the lower surface. Androgynous INFLORESCENCE is
branched to one order. Prophyll measures 8-14.5 cm x 1.5-2 cm.
Peduncular bract with a total length of 21 -31 cm including a beak of 0-
1.5	cm and the expanded or inflated part of the bract measuring 12-25 x
1.6-3.5 cm and with a 3.6-5.4 cm perimeter and a 1-2 mm thickness-
peduncle9-20 cm long, 0.3-0.7 cm thick and 0-6 cm long rachis but the
total inflorescence from the basal primary branch to the apex measuring
6.5-14 cm. Tfiere are 1-5(7) rachillae or primary branches measuring 8-
13.5	cm long at the apex, and 7-13 cm long at the base.
