Depto. La Paz, Prov. Nor Yungas, steep slopes on SE side
of Coroico, vie. Hotel Esmeralda and chapel.
16°H’32”S, 67°43’25”W. alt. 1800-1875 m.
Mixture of coffee plantations and remnants of woodland
with much escaped Impatiens, and open grassy and brushy
areas with much Melinis minutiflora (not now blooming).
1 m. tall. Inflorescence very pale violet.
