Old road ("Via Antigua") between Quito and Santo Domingo (via Chiriboga), between La Palma and Bosque Protector Rio Guajalito. Remnant patches of forests along steep embankments. 0°18'55"S 78°55'29"W. Montane wet forest. Succulent herb with erect shoots. Abaxial leaf surface with light green venation. Calyx lobes light green; rarely w/ red margins. Corolla white on outside; throat and lobes bright blue alternating w/ yellow. Immature fruits cone-shaped & light green.
