Mindo Loma Cloud Forest Reserve (finca de Heman Herrera), km 73.5 via Calacali-La Independencia (3 km past the entrance to the village of Mindo). Sendero Cascada. 0°0'44"S 78°44'29"W. Bosque nublado. Terrestrial. Stems unbranched and subwoody, 40-60 cm tall. Calyx green Corolla bright orange and hypocyrtoid.
