Free-floating aquatic herb.
Abundant; at times completely
covering small pools. Also found as
a co-dominant with Azolla cf.
flliculoides. Habitat: marshy area
alongside the river, characterized
by a mixture of vegetation, with
abundant Typha sp. and
free-floating macrophytes. Soil silty
clay.
