confluence of Hasley Canyon and Castaic Creek, N of Hwy 126
(Newhall 7.5’ Q.: 34°26'36"N, 118*3711"W, ±100m). Alt.:
319m/1045ft. Openings in grassland and coastal sage scrub on a
slight S-facing slope with Trifolium albopurpureum, Lupinus
bicolor, Bromus rnadritensis rubem. Castìllejà excerta,
Eriogpnum fasciculatum, Avena barbata, etc. Clay soil grading
into alluvium.
