Disturbed, bladed, road edge On alluvial slope; creosote bush scrub
with LyCium pallidum, Lepidiumjremontii, etc.
Locally common perennial: at least 200 plants present, all on
roadside. Densely tufted and subacaulescent; fits, with 1 locule;
fls. with banner cream with purple veins, tyings and keel deep
purple.
