High coastal evergreen forest with small river on heavy loam.

Description
Tufted slender iris-like herb to ca. 80 cm with equitant mid-green leaves, arising from fleshy stock (? corm) with fibrous roots. Ovary green. Outer tepals bright yellow, inner tepals uniformly bright yellow, tongue-shaped and folded into an "S" with the tip directed upwards and outwards, stamens and style bright yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
