Deep & very pale pinkish-grey sand, with Cyperaceae 2550, 2551, 2553 & several species of Xyris. Roots pale yellow ochre. Stem basally dull mauve, towards apex pale dull yellow-green. Leaves pale dull green, flushed pale mauve. Pedicals pale dull yellow-green. Calyx very pale grey-green with mauve-maroon (see drawing). Calyx lobes internally dark maroon. Cotolla all very pale lilac-pink, lilac blue anthers. Flowers not scented.
