interior part of island. Ag no forest with Cocos, Artocarpus, Musa interspersed
with coastal forest elements on coral sand and rubble substrate.
Shrub to 2.5 m tall. Flowers with red corolla, fruits green ripening black.
Naturalized, scattered along roadside.
