; BOTANICAL GARDEN PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS Rapateaceae Rapatea paludosa Aubl. Det. C.L. Kelloff, VI 2011 GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Kako River vicinity, above Kako Village, near Camp 3, ca. 22 air km east of Tulameng summit (summit 1534m, N 5°33'27.r, W 60°59'34.7"). 493 m. 5°33'33.5"N 60°46'55.2"W. White sand savanna with sandstone rock outcrops. Dimorphandra dominant on shrub islands and drier parts. Grading to wet areas with standing water. Centfal part recently burned. Growing in whitewater stream, submerged. Inflorescence scapose on flattened scape, subtended by two leaflike bracts. Flowers yellow. Silica sample. K.J. Wurdack 5212 1 July 2010 With: K. Redden, S.
