Base of hills in transition to lowlands around Shelburne Pond; ditch along edge of woods with much Fraxinus americana and Tilia; other trees Acer saccharum, Carya cordiformis, Fagus (higher on slope); shrub layers, Rhamnus cathartica, Parthenocissus, Vitis riparia, Rhus typhina, Malus pumila, Ostrya (higher); Bromus inermis on ground.

Tree ca 15 cm dbh, 15 m tall; <10% dieback. Fruiting. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
