Gentle hills; Fraxinus americana locally frequent along edge of extensive woods dominated by Picea ?glauca and Abies; other woodies, Acer rubrum, Populus tremuloides, Prunus virginiana, Corylus ?cornuta; on ground, Solidago rugosa, Euthamia, Onoclea, ?Cinna, Osmunda claytoniana, Pteridium.

Description
Tree ca 20 cm dbh, 20 m tall; no dieback but some infected male flowers. No fruit. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
