Broad upland plain; edge of woods; common Fraxinus americana, Quercus rubra, Acer saccharum, A. rubrum, Prunus serotina; also Vitis ?aestivalis, Robinia, Pinus strobus, Ostrya; on ground, Solidago rugosa, S. gigantea, Polygonum virginianum, Rubus allegheniensis, Dennstaedtia, Rubus idaeus.

Description
Tree ca 3 dm dbh, 25 m tall; <10% dieback; collection from sprouts ca 4 m high. Fallen fruits collected from ground since too high on tree. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
