Upper Suriname R., Gran Lio, Awaradan tourist camp vicinity, 0.1-1.0 Ion N along river. 107 m 3°50'40.62"N 55°36'47.76"W. Riverbank forest. Tree, 15m tall. Leaves dark green above, matte green below. Fruits with peduncle to 2 cm long, 3-4 clustered, bright orange, globose-ovoid, ca 0.6 cm diam., each containing 2 brown seeds. Common Name: rasai (Trio), finu uwii (Saramaccan). B.
