PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS Dilleniaceae * Doliocarpus dentata(Aubl.) Standi, ssp. B Det. C.L. Kelloff, 2007 Suriname. Sipaliwini. 3 km S (190°) from Kwamalasamutu village center, access trail from confl. Peritu Eeku (Creek) and Sipaliwini R (1.0 ha research plot KW4). 225 m 2°19'30"N 56°47'20"W. Non-flooded (upland) mixed forest, emergents 30-40 m. Twining liana, stem becoming large, 20 cm diam +. Bark red, flaky, x-s anatomy w/ radial lines. Lvs, at largest, 12 x 5 cm, coriaceous, spine-tipped serrate, petioles/leaves scabrous. Frt bi-hemispherical, green, 2.5 x 1.6 cm, calyx persistent.
