Rectangular traffic island with 2-foot wire fence, soil turned but not planted, so occupied by spontaneous species including: Trifolium repens, Persicaria lapathifolia, Amaranthus blitum, Abutilon theophrasti, Mollugo verticillata, Polygonum aviculare, Eragrostis, Plantago lanceolata, Plantago major, Eluusine indica, Euphorbia maculate, Chenopodium album, Robinia pseudoacacia, Cyperus.

Description
Herb; calyx of ovate lobes, hairs straight; corolla limb blue, the center blue also, with 5, blue, erect appendages (fornices) at the base of each lobe, there are no appendages between the corolla lobes; stamens barely exserted from throat, the anthers brown; nutles 4, orbicular, echinate; style persistent. There are three plants here. Spontaneous. This plant originally spotted by Eve Levine. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
