Habitat
This island constructed in 1997. Woody plants installed then and still persistent are: Alnus glutinosa (mistaken for a native species), Betula nigra, Viburnum dentatum, Cephalanthus occidentalis and Ilex glabra. Rudbeckia laciniata was planted and is persistent and spontaneous.
