PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS Flacourtiaceae Casearia javitensis Kunth Det, S.N. Alexander, 2007 Suriname. Sipaliwini. Upper Suriname R., Gran Lio, 0.1-1 km N of Stonehuku village, main forest trail to Godowata and Kajana. 3°53'14.52"N 55°34'24.17"W. Non-flooded (upland) mixed forest, emergents 30-40 m. Tree, 4 m x 2.5 cm, bole fenestrate. Bark smooth, slash strongly malodorous, conspic exudate absent. Flowers: tepals green-white, recurved, stamens white with black tips. Common Name:. B.
