Location

United States of America. New York. New York Co. New York City. Central Park. Yard, west of Winterdale Arch and east of Diana Ross Playground, along Bridle Path. Between 81st and 82nd Streets and between 7th and 8th Avenues.

Habitat

Between large rock outcrop and the Bridle Path, growing with Quercus palustris (directly on rock outcrop).

Description

Tree 9 m tall, the trunk 30 cm diam; bark with blocky plates, not diamond patterned; fruit green. This tree injected with emamectin on 20 June 2016. Spontaneous. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
