Tree 7m. Floral bracts green, the inner bracts forming a bowl-shaped collar, flaring apically, and tightly enveloping the hypanthium; petals white, faintly pink-tinged, often distinctly pink abaxially on surface exposed in bud; filaments white, anthers free, yellow, in a semicircle above the greenish-cream, slightly curving style; adaxial calyx lobes cream, becoming red in fruit.
