Floral bracts green; petals purplish-pink, paler near apical margin and base; filaments white, yellow anthers in a circle around the straight, white style, the anther thecae free or basally connate by weak fusion along the abaxial anther sac margin. Flowers emit a strong, musky odor somewhat similar to epiphylls (same odor noted in Blakea tapantiana, but weaker in that species). Common. Lat. 09 44.57N Long. 83 47.26W Datum: WGS 84. coll.
