Loma larga con el centro formado por rocas con arbustos
dispersos, laderas suaves con pastizales estacionalmente
quemados pasando a farellones y finalmente a bosque
chiquitano.
Localmente frecuente en suelos arenosos en cerrado
abierto y estacionalmente quemado.
Perenne de rizomas cortos, tallos de hasta 40 cm, flores
verde amarillento.
