Elev. 1150m. Large hemiepiphytic shrub to 7m. Twigs nodose; narrow triangular stipules present, becoming a distinct interpetiolar ridge. Hair tuft acarodomatia harboring mites. Floral bracts, hypanthium, and calyx green; petals pink, paler basally; filaments cream, connectives yellow, thecae cream, the anthers united and in a nearly straight line above the white style.
