Thin-stemmed hemiepiphytic shrub, usually attached to
host trunk less than 1 m from ground, the stems ca. 2cm dia.
Pit acarodomatia in leaf-vein axils. Petals rotate,
magenta-pink; stamens strongly declined above style in a
tight ring, the anthers connate, filaments pink, thecae
yellow, connectives brownish-pink; style sigmoid, pink
basally, white apically. Fruit red. Common.
