Adaxial leaf surface covered with minute pits, abaxial surface a much paler green, seemingly glabrous but very minutely pubescent. Flower buds contain a little watery liquid. Exposed portions of petals pink-magenta, otherwise white. Fruit also retaining liquid within bracts, calyx red. Uncommon. Lat. 09 14.17N Long. 79 23.25W . coll. Darin S.
