    Perennial climber, up to 4 m high, stem thin and tough, green, 2-4 mm in diameter. Petiole 1-2 mm long. Leaves alternate, simple, lanceolate, 4-11 x 1.8-3.5 cm, deep green, margins wavy and entire. Roots lemon-yellow, long, tough. Fruit pale yellow-green, globose, 3-locular, 18-20 mm in diam., suspended on long fruit stalk of 10-20 mm long. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
