Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of Lago Sapucu in Oriximiná, Pará. Referred to Wikimapia.org website for location information for Lago Sapucu. Using the reference map and Google Maps - Satellite View, located Lago Sapucu at the mouth of Rio Trombetas (confluence of Rio Trombetas and Rio Amazonas). Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the lake, on the adjacent northern shore. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the lake. Used linear extent as the uncertainty radius.
