    Herb, 40 cm tall. Stipe and rachis canaliculate, scattered scales on stipe and lower part of rachis, cross-section of stipe has 2 adaxial bundles and 3 smaller bundles on the abaxial side, all bundles circular in outline, no trichomes present, the ultimate segments toothed. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
