Non-flooded moist forest, ca. 50-125 m elev.
Tree 15 m tall, 26.0 cm dbh. Steep rounded
buttresses. Outer bark soft, scaly, medium
yellow-brown; inner bark gritty, hard, medium
orange-yellow. Total bark thickness 6.4 mm.
Bean smell to slash. Sapwood pale yellow. Slash
moist, sticky; exudate not free-flowing. Young
fruits green. Photos.
