    Shrub 3 m tall, stems several in two main clumps, the largest stem 2 cm diam; some short shoots divaricate and persistent, almost spinose; twigs reddish; fruit turning yellow-orange; growing in rock crevice. Spontaneous. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
