Degraded, dry to mesic sandy woodland dominated by black oak. Associates in very small open
areas from where this specimen came, included: Aronia melanocarpa. Carex pensvlvanica- c.
loneii. C. siccata. Helianthemum canadense. Luzula bulbosa. Moehrinea lateriflora. Panicnm
clandestimum. P. villosissimum. Paronychia canadensis. Prunus serotina, Ouercus alba. Rosa
multiflora. Scrophularia lanceolata. Vaccinium angustifolium. Viola sagittata.
