Rio Napo. Elev. 400m. Epiphytic shrub, attached to host
4m above ground, branches to 3m. Floral bracts green;
hypanthium and calyx green, the calyx and bracts
becoming red with age; petals white; filaments and thecae
white, connectives bluish-purple, lavender along sides, the
anthers connate and in a complete ring round style; style
straight, white, tapering apically. Uncommon.
