  Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Unable to find the precise location of "igarapé Ideal;" georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of Caracurú in Almeirim, Pará. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the approximate location of Caracurú, along Rio Jarí. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of Caracurú. Because Caracurú does not have defined spatial boundaries, used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to approximate linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the geographic center of the nearest named place within Pará, the city of Munguba, then halving this distance. Input coordinates, linear extent (9012.3 m.), and measurement error (.1 m.) in the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
