Branches held horizontally to 3 m; stems quadrate-carinate; buds filled with slimy fluid; all floral bracts free, yellow-green; hypanthium and calyx creamy green; corolla white with pink-purple on distal 1/6; stamens in a 270 degree ring, filaments pink, thecae cream, connective purple at apex; style minutely glandular, pink basally, rest white; stigma globose; fruit red.
