PLANTS OF ECUADOR No.2341 ca 10km. from Santo Domingo de los Colorados , property of Tinlandia. Tropical Rainforest. Lush forest. Grasslike lvs up to 35 cm. long. No fl or fr. present. At base of plant stiff, spiny, bromeliad like rosettes with each blade ca. 2.5cm long bt imm wide possibly the remains of old leaves. Growing on the bark of tree roots matted with Pleurothallus sp. and fern (#2341 x, #2343). Gail L. Sobel and Jeremy Strudwick 10 May 1980.
