GUYANA. Kako River. 536 m 5°31'28.7"N 60°50’19.2"W. Riparian
vegetation: Bombacaceae, Macrolobium, Eperua grandiflora,
Clusiaceae. White sand mixed with laterite. Epiphyte.
Inflorescence/infructescence terminal spike. Fruits round, green, with
apical projection. Subtended by a bright orange sac-like extra floral
nectary. Silica sample.
