PRESIDIO CO.: occasional in mixed vegetation (mainly
forbs and low shrubs), on sandy to silty loam on gentle slope
on very gently rolling landscape underlain by a mix of
Perdiz Conglomerate (a fanglomerate of variable
composition) and Quaternary alluvium, ca. 3.4-3.5 airmiles
WSW of jet. US Rt. 90 and St. Rt. 17 in downtown Marfa, at
N30o19.511\ W104°04.507\ SW part of Mimms Ranch
(Dixon Water Foundation). Marfa Quadrangle. Elev. 4810-
4820 ft.
Associates included Acourtia nana, Chaetopappa ericoides, Croton pottsii,
Dalea formosa, Dyschoriste sp., Flourensia cemua, Koeberlinia spinosa,
Melampodium leucanthum, Muhlenbergia arenicola, M. porteri, Munroa
squarrosa, Opuntia sp., Psilostrophe tagetina, Rhynchosia senna, Senna
bauhinioides, Setaria leucopila, Thymophylla acerosa, Tidestroemia
lanuginosa, Zinnia grandiflora, Ziziphus obtusifolia.
