Oak-hickory woodland on hilltop with Quercus prinus, Carya sp., Quercus rubra,Betula lenta, Tsuga canadensis, Vaccinium shrubs with very large densely pubescent leaves and Aralia elata here also.

Herb. This species looks very out of place here and unfortunately looks like it is spreading. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
