margin a dry slope.
Southern flatwoods, Carya, Celtis, Quercus, Ulmus,
Symphoricarpos, Danthonia.. Locally common delicate
erect herb; flowers white to very pale purplish-tinted, at
flatwood margin on dry clay bank with Crotonopsis,
Pycnanthemum, Lechea.
