Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Unable to find the precise location of "Colocaçao Tira Teima;" instead, georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of Riozinho do Andirá in Mun. Bujari, Acre. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located Riozinho do Andirá, a tributary of Rio Acre. Used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure a straight line starting at the mouth of Riozinho do Andirá (confluence of Riozinho do Andirá and Rio Acre) to the end of Riozinho do Andirá (confluence of Riozinho do Andirá and Igarapé Alagado), then halved this distance to approximate the location of the midpoint of Riozinho do Andirá. Measured to approximately this halved distance from the mouth of Riozinho do Andirá toward the center; used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the midpoint of the river, along the adjacent shore (collection assumed to be terrestrial). Input coordinates, linear extent (distance from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of Riozinho do Andirá, 61631.8 m), and measurement error (.5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
