Nl/2 NW1/4 sec. 10. Elev. 2600* to 2900'. Mostly clay
soils derived from volcanic substrates. Vegetation a mosaic
of native grassland, Quercus agrifolia woodland, and chaparral
dominated by Adenostoma fasciculatum and Ceanothus
crassifolius.
Uncommon shrub at margin of chaparral, about granitic
boulders. Two plants, very close to the Riverside County
line.
