Emergent, sub-woody herb.
Growing along the edge of the mat
next to open water. Occasional.
Flowers yellow. Fruits present.
Habitat: floating mat along the
edge of the basin. Composed of a
mixture of species, primarily
Oxycaryum cubense, Eleocharis
acutangula, Leersia hexandra and
Hymenachne sp.
