    Unlogged forest on terra firme near recently opened unpaved access road. Some patches dominated by Guadua sarcocarpa; Tetragastris and Brosimum common. Rare. Clay soils.

    Tree. Tree 15m, calyx becoming fleshy, red tinged with white, fruits white, immature. Outer bark dark brown. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
