Common; wet depressions and ravines; heavy clay;
Monterey Shale. Elevation: 320 feet.
Associated species: Maly a parviflora, Atriplex
californica, Brassica nigra, Phacelia viscida, Amsinckia
intermedia, Erodium moschatum, Medicago
polymorpha, Capsella bursa-pastoris.
