Semi-scandent shrub, young flush foliage pinkish red; leaves very coriaceous, olive-green with thick dark red petioles; fleshy flowers with dark red pedicels, calyces cylindrical, rose-pink glossy, corollas rose-pink on basal four fifths, pale green on apical fifth and with green lobes, style rose-pink on basal three quaters, greenish on apical quater, stigma green, Uncommon.
