Habitat
Remnant "cerrado" with trees (mostly "angico") 10-12 m tall with broken canopy cover, and almost continuous under layer of lower trees. Shrub-filled clearings here & there. Undergrowth locally thick, with many woody vines. Soil light reddish-brown fine sand.
