Terrestrial; stipes purple-black; pinnae perpendicular to stipe. [Belize
Ecosystem: Strongly seasonal, deciduous broadleaf lowland riparian
shrubland in hills]. On hills on south side of river, forest dominant
with Licania hypoleuca, understory fairly open and with Rubiaceae,
Schippia concolor.
