See No.17500. A big tree, half bare, leaves still falling, new leaf buds (and flower buds?) opening. The narrow oblong leaves with almost caudate acuminate apex are unusual. Numerous trees seen in heavy jungle. Also found on the Somra Pass in fruit on 1.11.48. Not uncommon there at 7000'-8000'. A fine tree.
