Ca. 18°20'S 59°08'W Dry forest near river in large flat valley, rege- nerating after floods in 1979 which killed all but a few of the species of large trees. Tree, 6m x 10cm, fruits pale green. Frequent near river, reaching 15m. Common name: "ajo". Wood with garlicky odor. 02592816
